Nash Chase

Before shy 20-year-old Nash Chase was voted New Faces winner on television’s Studio One in August 1970 he had been working in the factory pressing his debut single: a version of Anthony & The Imperials’ ‘What Greater Love’.

Released earlier in the year on the independent Ode label, the 45 was part of a prize package for Chase winning first place in the Whanganui Talent Quest in 1969.
