Hughes has released a solo EP and a solo album on Move The Crowd Records. He is also a member of Kidz In Space and Eighties In Harlem, and has previously recorded and performed as part of Dirtbag District and Oddballz.
Prior to signing to Move The Crowd in 2006, Hughes was associated with Auckland hip-hop collective Breakin' Wreck. He featured on all of Breakin’ Wreckwordz compilation albums and mixtape releases.
After signing to Move The Crowd, Hughes travelled to New York in 2006 to record his debut album Ages Turn. Following this, he went on a 25-date Asian tour with US hip-hop DJ Roc Raida in 2007.
In 2006 he also toured Australia with Jay-Z and Rhianna. In 2011 he toured New Zealand with Nas and Damien Marley. He has also opened for 50 Cent, De La Soul, Missy Elliot, Mobb Depp, Ice Cube, B.O.B, Chiddy Bang, Dizzee Rascal and Sage Francis.
In 2008 he received a Taranaki Young Achievers Award in recognition of his success as a hip-hop artist.
In 2010, Hughes group Kidz In Space had their song 'Downtime' placed on the video game NBA 2K11. In 2012 he started the duo Eighties In Harlem with Janine & The Mixtape and in 2012 he travelled to Bail with Late Nyte Hype to record the video clip for their single 'We Are All', which he featured on.
Hughes is also co-owner of a clothing label called KillingLame.
